AIKEN, S.C. -- An afternoon fire kept firefighters busy and destroyed a race car on Saturday.

Some coals left behind a shed reignited the flames and smoke around 4:30 p.m. at 1036 Bethel Church Road.

Firefighters say it started as a brush fire but spread to a nearby shed. The shed and what's being called an expensive drag racing car were destroyed.

It took firefighters about an hour to put out the fire.
