AUGUSTA, Ga. --- The line goes around to the back of the building. And even though it was cold, that didn't stop these people from camping out in front of Best Buy.

"We actually toughed it out sitting in chairs and blankets. And pretty much with the adrenaline pumping, we stayed pretty warm. So it wasn't too bad without a tent," Pauline Brown said.

Pauline Brown was the first person in line and she arrived at Best Buy at 6 A.M. Thursday morning. She skipped her Thanksgiving dinner to wait in line, but says the bargains are worth the wait.

"Exciting. Everybody's so jealous that we get first pick of everything. They're kind of nervous toward the end because everybody wants the laptops because it's all around a good deal," Brown said.

The doors at Best Buy opened at 5 A.M. but to cut down on the congestion the store let 60 people in at a time.

"I would say it's better or equal than last year. Got a lot of bargains, a lot of good buys, so it's bringing the people out. People are still bargain shopping," Steve Maxcy said.

Bargain shopping for LCD TV's, Playstations, and laptop computers. But even though you shop on Black Friday doesn't mean you'll wait long hours in line for the store to open.

"I think maybe the younger people, its the bargains. For someone like us it's just getting up and having something to do and enjoying the day," Linda Holder said.
