AUGUSTA, Ga.---For the 2nd time in a month, we got calls from workers about problems at the Teleperformance building. Today property managers offered answers.

Photos sent to News 12 showing exposed piping, backed-up drainage, and stained ceiling tiles at the newly opened Teleperformance prompted dozens to speak out on our website.

"The quotes. The rumors," said property manager Ann Davis. "They are all unfounded."

"You can see as we're walking here the property is very well maintained," said Ann.

That's her story and she's sticking too it, but what about the drainage?

"No one had ever reported that to our company until I guess the employee called Channel 12," said Ann. "Immediately it was taken care of."

Owners spent about $1.2 million to get the place up and running for opening day. "We started construction in May, and we had the tenant in August," said Ann.

There are still some signs that work is being done...at least, until recently. "What's happening is we have asked our contractor to stop work until the weekend, and we'll complete that roof coating this weekend when there are no employees in the building."

They're working on getting things in line; meanwhile, Ann says she's taking it all in stride. She hopes others will too.

"This is just one of those things that happened and it's not a problem for us," said Ann. "We manage about a million and a half square feet in this market...so we can take on any obstacle."

Ann says workers will be back on the roof this weekend. They're expected to finish those repairs. Ann says they invested in the project to ensure hundreds would have jobs. She says that should be the focus.

ITS NICE TO KNOW ITS NOT JUST THE OGDEN SITE THAT GETS TREATED THIS WAY. WE HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH MANAGEMENT AND THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE BUILDING. TELEPERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT HAS NO RESPECT AT ALL FOR THE PEOPLE WHO ACTUALLY KEEP THEM IN BUSINESS, BECAUSE AS WE ALL KNOW THE SUPERVISORS AND TRAINERS AND SO FORTH DO NOTHING. THE TRAINERS LET PEOPLE OUT ON THE FLOOR AFTER TRAINING EVEN IF THEY FAILED EVERY TEST AND MISSED CLASSES BECAUSE THEY GET A BONUS IF THEY PASS. THE SUPS DONT DO ANYTHING ALL DAY LONG AND COMPLAIN WHEN THEY ARE ON A 10 MIN. SUP CALL BECAUSE SOME CRAZY DOCTOR OR MEMBER DOESNT WANT TO LISTED TO SOMEONE WHO IS NOT CALLED A SUPERVISOR EVEN THO I GUARENTEE WE KNOW WAY MORE ABOUT THEJOB THEN ANY OF THEM DO. I WORKED THERE ONLY BECAUSE I COULD NOT FIND ANOTHER JOB. NOW THAT I FINALLY DID I WAS GONE BEFORE THAT JOB EVEN STARTED. THEY DONT PAY YOU FOR WHEN THEIR SYSTEM CRASHED EITHER THATS SICK AND WRONG. TELEPERFORMANCE IS NOT A PLACE YOU WANT TO WORK UNLESS YOU HAVE TO

I just need to make a few comments about the management at Teleperformance. The managers of this site in Augusta are shockingly rude in which decreases that morale of the entire site. no matter how hard you try to work and keep a smile on your face at this job, the managers approach is so not approachable that it just makes you want to walk out and quit and what's worse is the job is not hard. I like the job as far as the work, but its who i'm working with that makes me sick, so sick that its depressing. I want to list a few initials here in management that need a definite personality boost:K.A #1, M.H, D.S. AND D, ASSISTANT WHATEVER HE IS..Who in their right mind promoted these people into management they all need to attend a skilled management work shop. Last but not least, they do not support their employees, you can be sick and dying and they will not listen, only keep walking to avoid dealing with real life issues. YOU ALL SUCK!!!

The problem is the upper management. How can buisness be conducted correctly, when you have the upper manager [name redacted] going out drinking and partying with the supervisors and regular employees, then come in the following day talking about it at work, with hangovers. (not to include the sleeping around)I won't be surprise when a sexual harrasment law suit gets filed. They need to separate the bilinguals also, to avoid alot of rambling around phone conversations. Every call center I worked in have them separated. Upper management are aware of every issue on all these comments posted, an nothing is being done. Most of them are stuck in their offices all day, and have no idea on what is going on in the call center, then when we speak our mind they act concern for only a minute. They are there to get a check, because I can't say they are earning it. When Teleperformance gets closed down, you can point the fingers to upper management.

I work in this building. The maint. issues have been corrected. This is not a new building. It was an empty unused building for a long period of time so of course there are going to be issues. They were taken care of promptly once they were present. A lot of employees are angry because they know that lies have been told by some of the unhappy people and they feel as though their job is in jeopardy because of the "trouble makers". There is one in every bunch and people are just tired of it. The hardworking, dedicated, committed employees just want to come to work and do their job. They just want all the drama and lies to stop. If people are truly unhappy then their are other jobs out there. I will say there is not a call center out there who allows you to go over your breaks or lunches without some form of disciplinary action. Also people log out just because they feel like it and management has been more than lenient with those agents who don't want to do their job.Just leave us alone.

I've never worked at Teleperformance but I DO work at a call center in the area. Doesn't sound to me that the employees are "whining". Mentality of a 4yr old? If this is the case, what does this say about the upper management who hired these people? Regardless, we should be treated like adults. However, this is also a BUSINESS and you must follow rules & regulations (breaks/lunch/agenda,etc). If you don't like it, apply elsewhere or be your own boss. But why is this building having so many maintenance issues when it's basically brand spankin' new? It DOES need to be addressed. Doesn't sound as if the management staff care much about the employees' concerns.

This is directed to Nate and Tired. As a former employee, HOW DARE YOU call the employees whiners and babies! If it wasnt for the employees working there, YOU wouldnt even have a job. They treated us like we were in prison, telling us when we should go to break or lunch (most of the time breaks were suspended for sometimes 5 hours). You even had to ask to go the bathroom. If you were even one minute late from break or lunch, they sent their guard dogs out to find you. If you needed help, the supervisors rolled their eyes as if you a bother. Mind you, I can count on one hand how many supervisors were happy to help you. The management structure was shoddy. The providers who call about claims are so rude that one CSR broke down after the caller called her an ignorant idiot. The supervisor told her to grow up and get back to work. HOW RUDE!! She ended up walking out and didnt come back. She wasnt alone. I havent been in grade school in years & REFUSE to be treated like a child at my job!!

This is directed at Pam since she thinks she knows everything. If working here is so bad why don't you quit. You clock in every morning and be the first one to grab your check. You have a problem with management but yet you keep applying. Has it every occured to you that you are immature and unqualified? you just think ppl are talking down to you because you have the mentality of a 4 year old. Grow UP. I am almost positive that if they close this place down you are not going to offer any assistance to ppl you helped become unemployed. You will probably be the first one in the unemployment line. You need to act your age and not your shoe size.

The employees are right by contacting channel 12. But it is getting out of hand, when channel 12 comes in for every little thing. Some of the employees are like kids, sometimes I feel like i'm working in a daycare. They know when they are doing something wrong, and like every other job, you have rules you have to follow. yet they want to whine, and complaint and want channel 12 to rescue them. They can just quit and find some other place to work, and I guarantee, they are going to regret the moment they picked up their cell phone and called channel 12 on a sneaky. They complain so much , they need to learn their jobs, and stop whining about everything. I guarantee that the ones calling channel 12 are the ones that constantly have their hands up asking for assistance. Because they want someone to do their job for them. Get a life, or another job, and stop raising your hands for every little thing. WE ARE AT TELEPERFORMANCE TO HELP MEMBERS, NOT TO COMPLAINT.

The problem with the company is that the management is poor. They have no structure. They are hiring friends, instead of qualified individuals. The company does no background check or drug testing, so we have all kinds of people working there, and we have no idea who is sitting next to us. What kind of peple are working in this call center? Then you have the manager drinking with some of the supervisors at the clubs. Its all a buddy thing at the call center. They hire thier friends for higher positions. I can only point out 1 or 2 people that I believe were hired on qualifications, friendliness, and outgoing in assisting other employees. .

Channel 12 Thank you Thank you Thank you!!! Because of your broadcast showing the inside of the building in disrepair the very next morning the contractors were in there pulling ceiling tiles, fixing leaks and although they about killed us with the fumes from trying to fix the roof, which wasn't TP's fault they got their a** is gear atleast with this aspect of the problem. NOW if they would just work on getting the ACCM and his drinking buddies AKA supervisors outta there who don't know what they are doing along with the CCM and HR whose name starts with a C, you are so RUDE don't talk to people like they are below you! All these people got these jobs from knowing each other! NOT from being qualified! Bryan your call center is going to crap!

There are several issues with Teleperformance. For one it is very difficult to understand how a company make their employees who have missed days from work, work overtime or else. Also it is very difficult to understand how if a company acknowledges a Holiday and is not open on that holiday they do not pay their employees holiday pay who are scheduled to work.Another thing is that i've seen the water fountains in the building several weeks ago with not just water exiting the spout when the lever is pressed but another white substance that look like a mixture of paint and water and I actually alomost drinked the water;luckily I was paying attention. Another thing how can a an employee be clocked out for coming from break late or returning from a bathroom break too late? The management at Teleperformance also suspend breaks because there are several calls coming in meaning many employees worked full days without a break or one break and if you go anyway they will find you to get on a cal.
