AUGUSTA, Ga.---The United Way of the CSRA started its annual fundraising campaign Monday at the Bell Auditorium.

United Way hopes to raise $4.5 million. All of that money would stay in
this area. More than 60 groups, including the Red Cross and Salvation Army, get help from United Way donations.

This year's theme is "Light the Way."

640 people were at Monday's event, including News 12"s Meredith Anderson and Richard Rogers, who were the emcees.
