AUGUSTA -- There was free food, live music and college students racing in bubbles.
Augusta State University held its annual Pig Out event under the name "Pig Out is Red Hot" in reference to this year's live performance artist Heat Box.
ASU has been hosting this event for almost a decade, and this year's novelty acts included bubble racing, spin art and wax hand art.
According to members of the Jaguar Activities Board, the Pig Out is planned a semester in advance due to organizing the different activities for students and selecting the best live performer that can appeal to a wide variety of students.
Strategically planned to take place during the lunch hours of the day, hundreds of students had the opportunity to enjoy the event's festivities.
The JAB will be planning next year's event in the spring. If you missed out this year, get ready to Pig Out next fall.
