UPDATE | Search for suspects is over after stolen truck hits house

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- Deputies are looking for two men accused of stealing a truck that crashed into a home this morning, Aiken County deputies said.

Authorities said a deputy was doing a routine patrol in the neighborhood, when the deputy noticed the truck as a stolen vehicle and approached it. Authorities said the truck then sped off, lost control and hit the house on Silver Fox Way off Old Sudlow Lake Road this morning around 3:45 a.m.

After the crash, deputies say the two suspects took off running. Deputies said the homeowner was inside at the the time of the crash, but was not hurt.

Authorities said the stolen truck hit the homeowner's truck, damaging the garage and then kept rolling until it crashed into the corner of the house.

After a nearly three-hour search, deputies tell 12 they do not believe the suspects to be armed or dangerous. Photos of the suspects have been released.
