ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) — The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating a wreck in Anderson County that killed three people and injured a fourth.
WYFF-TV reported that troopers say the car hit a tree and caught fire just after midnight Sunday.
Deputy Coroner Charlie Boseman says three people were pronounced dead at the scene. Those killed were a 26-year-old man, a woman and a small child.
Boseman says a 32-year-old woman was airlifted from the scene to Greenville Memorial Hospital and then was taken to the Augusta Burn Center.
