NORTHFIELD, Ill.---Kraft issues a voluntary recall for some Kraft Singles.
Kraft Foods Group is issuing a voluntary recall for over 7,500 cases of select varieties of regular Kraft American Singles Pasteurized Prepared Cheese Product shipped across the United States, according to the FDA's website.
They say the supplier didn't keep an ingredient used in the product at the right temperature. They say while it's unlikely, it could lead to the product spoiling early and/or illness.
The company is issuing the recall as a precaution. Kraft says they haven't had anyone complain about getting sick for for products affected with the recall.
The recall affects four varieties with a "Best When Used By" date of February 20, 2015 and February 21, 2015.
They say if you bought the products, you shouldn't eat them and return them to where you bought them for an exchange or refund.
