UPDATE: Deputies investigating officer-involved shooting

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga (WRDW) -- Authorities in Columbia County are currently investigating a shooting involving a deputy.

Narcotics investigators were at a home on Collins Drive in Martinez with a search warrant around 5:30 p.m. Friday.

Authorities say a suspect raised his weapon at an investigator, and that' s when that suspect was shot in the arm.

A total of 4 people were arrested after the search: Terry Avery, 34; Terrance Curry, 21; Tervoirs Curry, 29; George Jones, Jr., 62.

Officers say they seized marijuana, cocaine, various other narcotics, along with three weapons and more than $8,000 in cash.

All four suspects are charged with Trafficking Cocaine, Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute & Possession of Schedule II, III & IV narcotics.

Terrance Curry is also charged with Aggravated Assault.

Investigator Marquis Hagans, 34, and Investigator John Bentley, 39, are now on administrative leave with pay.

Hagans has been with the Sheriff's Offce since 2006, Bentley since 2008.

The shooting is under investigation.
