STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) -- Four people have been taken to trauma centers after a deck collapsed at a DeKalb County home.
DeKalb County Fire Department Capt. Eric Jackson says the deck fell inward when it collapsed Sunday afternoon. He says that those injured landed against the house.
WSB-TV reports (http://bit.ly/pUjIKR ) that the injured were at the house for a family gathering. The station says three adults and one minor were hurt with the injuries including cuts and scrapes and possible broken bones.
Firefighters say the deck appears to have been built in the late 1980s.
