WASHINGTON, D.C. - The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall on certain child safety harnesses.
The recalls are for several models are safety seats made between May 2008 and April 2009.
Certain Dorel Juvenile Group (DJG) safety seats have problems with the harness lock and release button not staying locked in place. This causes it to slip and pose a safety hazard to children if they are involved in a car accident.
Contact DJG for a free repair kit to fix the problem.
