I drive a school bus for Columbia County and one of my elementary children was born on this day. She is a very sweet child and I thank God for her every day! Her father as well as other family members try to keep this day special for her.

I was at home with my son and my daughter. My son was home from school because he was sick. I was so relieved that my children were at home with me. I remember being nervous and lost for words. I remembering wondering what area/place would be hit next. I remember calling loved one's to 'warn' them of what was going on. I remember thinking 'war was coming to our country'. I have forgiven those who carried out the attacks and I am proud of how the people of our country came together during that time. I am also very proud of the troops who serve our country. Their job is one of sacrifice and I will continue to pray for them.
