Missing chopper found in Georgia, 2 dead

BLAIRSVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- The Civil Air Patrol says a helicopter
on a trip from Florida missing since Monday was discovered crashed
in north Georgia mountains and two people aboard have died.
Spokeswoman Paige Joyner says authorities discovered the
wreckage in northern Lumpkin County around 2:30 p.m. Friday.
Authorities identified pilot Adam Reeves, of Jupiter, Fla. among
the dead. Joyner would not identify a deceased passenger.
The 2006 Robinson R44II left the North Palm Beach County airport
Monday and was scheduled to arrive that afternoon at the helipad at
the Brasstown Valley Resort and Spa in Young Harris.
Instead, authorities believe it crashed sometime that evening,
after 6 p.m., in a rugged mountain area. The helicopter was
registered to Reeves.
