3 charged in Red Carpet Inn murder

Eddie Lee Freeman was arrested yesterday. Another man, Byron Elliard, was in jail for an unrelated case and has now been charged in this one. A third man, Tordrell Stokes, has also been arrested.

Armed robber hits Clearwater bank

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office responded to a call at 12:34 this afternoon about an armed robbery at Security Federal Bank in Clearwater. A man demanded that two clerks fill a small backpack with cash.

First sleet, snow of the year
