NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C. --- A pickup truck crashed into the Captain D's on Edgefield Road last night, plowing its way completely inside the dining room. After some quick repairs, the restaurant was open for business today.
Three people, including the driver of the pickup truck, were treated for injuries after the accident, which happened at around 7:15pm. An hour before, the restaurant had been packed with children for Kids Night.
Investigators think the driver could have had some sort of medical condition, and that's what caused him to crash into the building.
