WILKES COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW)- The Wilkes County Sheriff says missing 22-year-old Tierra Johnson has been found safe.
Officers say around 8:30 Friday morning Johnson was found in Athens-Clarke County. An Athens-Clarke County Sheriff's deputy recognized her and picked her up to question her.
She told the deputy she did leave her home on Wednesday and had not contacted her family.
The family has been notified and they are in the process of returning Johnson to Wilkes County.
WILKES COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW)-Search crews are looking for a missing Wilkes County woman, 22-year-old Tierra Johnson, according to the Wilkes County Sheriff's Office.
Johnson was last seen around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Rayle, Sheriff Mark Moore said.
Georgia State Patrol has been searching for her by helicopter, but there has been no sign of Johnson, Moore said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office.
