AIKEN COUNTY -- A woman was taken to the hospital around midnight Thursday after a car accident.

The crash happened at Huber Clay Road and Pine Log Road. Deputies tell News 12 the woman overturned her car and wound up in a ditch. She was taken to the hospital. We're told she is expected to recover.

Deputies shut down the road to clear the scene. South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
