AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- Aiken County deputies de-escalated a fight between two women in Aiken County after one woman barricaded herself in a house.
Neighbors called the Sheriff's Office when they heard the two arguing outside. When officers arrived at 225 Archdale Drive, one woman ran inside the home and refused to come out.
Deputies temporarily detained the woman who was still outside and learned she had a taser. The woman told deputies the other girl had a gun.
ACSO, Aiken Department of Public Safety, EMS, SRT, and a negotiation team worked with the barricaded woman. She finally came out. Deputies found a BB gun when they searched the home.
Neither woman wanted to press charges, so no arrests were made and no charges were filed. ACSO says the dispute was over drugs.
