AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) - Aiken County Deputies arrested a woman they say left the scene of an accident that sent a man to the hospital.
Tonya Logue, 25, was arrested Saturday and charged with leaving the scene of an accident with great bodily injuries.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, on March 24 Logue hit Billy Bagwell, 55, with her car around 9:30 that night. The incident happened on SC 421 and Anthony Drive.
Logue is now being held in the Aiken County Detention Center.
Meanwhile, Bagwell is still recovering from the incident. According to his brother, both of Bagwell's legs are broken along some ribs and one of his wrist.
His brother also says he in a North Augusta nursing home while he makes his recovery.
