Woman arrested in Aiken County neighborhood burglary case

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- A woman has been arrested in Aiken County accused of burglary and grand larceny from Dec. 2013, the Aiken Department of Public Safety said.

Kelly Lynn Pyle, 32, has charges stemming from a burglary on Dec. 15 on Dibble Road in Aiken, Aiken DPS said. Pyle is accused of going into a closed garage and taking more than $10,000 worth of tools, chainsaws, golf clubs, saddles and the victim's 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe.

Pyle is a suspect in several other burglaries in the Kalmia Hills area, according to Aiken DPS.

The stolen vehicle was later recovered.

Anyone with information regarding the unsolved Kalmia Hills burglaries is asked to contact the Aiken Department of Public Safety at 803-642-7620 or contact Crimestoppers at 1-888-CRIME-SC. You can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
