Woman arrested for stealing duck calls, lighters from North Augusta Walmart

NORTH AUGUSTA, S.C (WRDW) -- A woman has been arrested accused of shoplifting duck calls and lighters from Walmart and starting a chase in North Augusta, dispatch said.

North Augusta Department of Public Safety spotted her truck heading north on Knox Avenue around 10 a.m., dispatch said. Officers put out stop sticks in the area of Old Edgefield Road, but she kept driving after she hit the sticks and blew a front tire.

Eventually, the woman pulled into a nearby McDonald’s where she was arrested. The woman is accused of stealing lighters and duck calls from Walmart.
