HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- A winning ticket worth more than a half-million dollars was sold in Hephzibah, the Georgia Lottery Corp. said.
First Stop Tobacco Road sold the winning Georgia Lottery instant ticket with a $600,000 top prize. Ward Fenner of Hephzibah is the lucky winner who played the instant game $600,000 Rich.
All Georgia Lottery profits go to pay for specific educational programs, including Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. More than 1.6 million students have received HOPE, and more than 1.3 million 4-year-olds have attended the statewide, voluntary prekindergarten program.
