WAYNESBORO (WRDW) -- A former Waynesboro police officer is not giving up the fight to get his old job back.

News 12 has learned City Councilmembers have granted an appeal hearing for Roosevelt Lodge.

The hearing will be November 4th and the public is invited to attend.

Police Chief Augustus Palmer terminated Lodge last month. City Manager Jerry Coalson agreed with the firing saying Lodge was insubordinate and did not cooperate with the internal investigation into his conduct.

The appeal to the City Council will be the final chance for Lodge to get his job back.
