WASHINGTON, Ga. (WRDW) -- The City of Washington could be getting on the Sunday alcohol sales bandwagon.
City Administrator Mike Eskew says that the City Council instructed its attorney on Monday to look into the process of having Sunday sales, which is the first step in the process.
The City Council has not decided if it will be beer and wine only or full liquor sales yet, which is why the city attorney will be giving them a report.
If Washington does move forward with Sunday sales, council members say they want to have it on the ballot for the November municipal election.
