Voting information for Aiken, Columbia, Richmond counties

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- News 12 is on your side with the information you need to cast your vote in the Nov. 6 election.

Aiken County

The state of South Carolina does not have early voting but does have absentee voting.

-Absentee precinct is open 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at Aiken County Board of Elections.

-Satellite precinct opens after Oct. 15 in Kalmia Plaza.

-Satellite precinct in North Augusta at the Nancy Carson Library open from noon to 4 p.m. on Oct. 22, 24 and 26.

Columbia County

-Oct. 9: Last day to register to vote on Nov. 6

-Oct. 15: Early voting begins at the Board of Elections office, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. This ends Nov. 2.

-Oct. 17: Saturday voting from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Patriots Park Gym, the Board of Elections Office and the Stevens Creek Community Church.

-Oct. 29 to Nov. 2: Advance voting, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Patriots Park Gym, the Board of Elections Office and the Stevens Creek Community Church.

-Nov. 2: Last day to request and mail out absentee ballot.

-Nov. 5: No voting unless you're returning an absentee ballot to the Board of Elections Office.

Richmond County
