AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Deputies are releasing new details about a deadly hit-and-run last weekend on a busy Augusta highway.

The Sheriff's Office said a 1993-1997 Toyota Corolla is one of the vehicles that hit two juveniles on Gordon Highway near Old Savannah Road just before midnight Saturday.

The Coroner's Office said 14-year-old Zykeith Harris died just after midnight. A second teen was also hit. An ambulance took that teen to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

Investigators say the Corolla will have damage to the front end on the driver's side. Deputies say the driver's side headlight and side mirror were also damaged in the accident. The car is also missing the Toyota emblem on the front and may have gold trim around the base of the vehicle.

Deputies say two other vehicles also hit the teens after the initial collision with the Corolla, but they have not been able to identify those vehicles.

If you have any information, call the Sheriff's Office at 706-821-1483 or 706-821-1080. A cash reward is available for anyone with information on the driver of the hit-and-run vehicle and/or the vehicle.
