AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) - The University Hospital makes high marks on the Hospital Safety Score.
It is the only hospital in the CSRA to take home an "A" for patient safety. While that's good news for University Hospital, every other hospital in our are got a "C."
The Hospital Safety Score's website says the grade given under the guidance of leading experts and administered by The Leapfrog Group, which is an independent industry watchdog.
The group gave more than 2,500 U.S. hospitals scores this year, with about 32 percent of them getting an "A."
