2 stabbing investigations underway in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. -- Two people are in the hospital Tuesday morning after two separate stabbing incidents.
The first stabbing happened around 8:30 p.m. Monday on the 1800 block of Watkins Street.
Deputies say a woman was taken to the hospital. Her condition is unknown at this time.
Someone has been taken into custody for questioning in connection to the stabbing.
The second stabbing happened around 1 a.m. Tuesday on the 1000 block of 15th Street. When deputies arrived on scene, they found a man with four stab wounds to the back.
The man was sent to the hospital. His condition is unknown.
Investigators say a man and a woman were in an argument that ended in a fight. Deputies arrested the woman.
