Two charged with card forgery

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- An I-20 traffic stop leads to two arrests of financial transaction card forgery, the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office said.

The deputy found a credit card reader and writer along with over 350 credit cards/gift cards on Feb. 2, the Sheriff's office said.

Khille Damon Jackson and Bobbie Lynn Leake were charged with one felony count each for criminal possession of a financial transaction card forgery device. Neither man had a driver's license. Jackson was also charged with driving without a license.

As of Friday afternoon, over 100 of the found credit cards/gift cards had stolen card numbers assigned to them.

The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is currently working this case with the Secret Service and more charges are pending.
