WARRENVILLE, S.C. -- Three burglaries within two days and two minutes of each other land two juveniles in jail.
On June 6, someone went into the United States Post Office on Augusta Road and stole six packages and opened seven more packages with a pair of scissors while standing in the Post Office lobby.
On June 7, a witness saw someone jump from the roof of Harrison’s Hardware after taking a .22 caliber rifle and moved around in the store. While processing the crime scene, deputies said they discovered bullets lying on the floor.
A short time later, deputies were dispatched to the Dart Discount Tobacco Store and found bullets in the front parking lot that were consistent with the ammunition from the Harrison Hardware burglary. Video footage from the Dart Discount Tobacco Store showed the suspects trying to break in.
The video gave the suspects away, the Sheriff's Office said. Both subjects were charged with two counts of burglary and one count of attempted burglary.
They are being held in the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia.
