2 South Aiken students accused of posting pictures of special needs student using the bathroom

AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- Aiken Public Safety Officers arrested two South Aiken High School students Tuesday on charges of promoting obscenity.

According to an incident report, 17-year-old Austin Dean Thames took a picture of a special needs student while the victim was using the bathroom. Then using Snapchat, Thames sent the picture to 19-year-old Jeffery Alec Forrester.

Forrester took a screenshot of the picture and posted it on his online account, according to the report. The assistant principal reported the post.

Both students were arrested Tuesday on charges in the case.
