JACKSON, Miss. (AP) -- An adult entertainer goes to trial in January for what authorities say was her role in arranging unlicensed buttocks injections that killed a Georgia woman in 2012.
Authorities say 37-year-old Karima Gordon of Atlanta paid $200 to Natasha Stewart, a model and adult entertainer who uses the name Pebbelz Da Model, for a referral to the alleged injector. She's charged with depraved-heart murder and other charges.
Authorities say Gordon died from blood clots in her lungs days after being injected with a silicone substance in March 2012 at a house in Jackson, Miss.
A deadline for Stewart to reach a plea agreement is Jan. 10. Trial begins Jan. 27.
Tracey Lynn Garner, also known as Morris Garner, is charged with giving the injections and goes to trial in March.
