AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW) -- Hundreds were without power in Aiken on Friday after a tree fell on a power line on Croft Mill Road overnight.

Approximately 700 were initially impacted by the outage.

Aiken Public Safety officers say they believe the rain is partially to blame for the tree falling.
