The new traffic signal on Wrightsboro Road at the new Wal-Mart will be placed into flashing mode Thursday.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The new traffic signal on Wrightsboro Road at the new Walmart will be placed into flashing mode Thursday.

The signal will continue flashing into the weekend and should operate normally Tuesday at 10 a.m., the city's Traffic Engineering Department said.

Be aware of your surroundings as you drive near that area.
