Fatal accident on Ulm Road (WRDW-TV)

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- Deputies have confirmed the names of the two people who died in an accident on Ulm Road over the weekend.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office has confirmed that Kyterian Andres Jones was driving his motorcycle when he lost control and slammed into two people walking along the road and also hit another vehicle. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

The City of Wrens has confirmed Jones worked as a police officer there. They say Jones was off duty Sunday night celebrating his birthday.

Marcus Kelly, one of the pedestrians, died at the scene.

The other pedestrian, Jerome Gilmore, was taken to the hospital with a broken leg and a laceration on his other leg. He was released from the hospital on Monday.

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- Deputies have confirmed two people are dead at after a motorcycle accident on Ulm Road at Wendell Street.

The Richmond County Sheriff's Office says a motorcycle traveling north on Ulm Road lost control and hit two pedestrians and a vehicle at 6:24 p.m.

Deputies say the driver of the motorcycle and one pedestrian died at the scene.

The second pedestrian was transported to the hospital, according to a news release.
