Thief takes copper piping

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Richmond County Deputies are investigating a copper theft from a home.

Officers say someone stole 30 feet of copper piping form water heaters in a supply room attached to a home on Belair Rd.

Deputies say by looking at the piping that was still attached, copper pipe cutter were used during the theft.
