ALLENDALE, S.C. (WRDW) -- An Allendale teen has been arrested in connection with the June 2014 death of Willie Johnson.

Robert Lee Miller III, 16, was charged with murder. Upon conviction, Miller could face the death penalty or 30 years to life in prison, according to South Carolina Law Enforcement Division.

Miller was booked at the Allendale County Detention Center Monday, officials said.

FAIRFAX, S.C. (WRDW) -- Investigators say that four people are now in custody as a result of these two incidents. Three teenagers are charged with murder in the death of Willie Johnson; two 16 year olds and one 15 year old.

Another teenager is in custody in the shooting from yesterday in Fairfax as well, police said. They say that the weapon used in that shooting was stolen from the home of the murder in Allendale. The suspect could also be connected to the murder in Allendale.

FAIRFAX, S.C. (WRDW) -- A 14-year-old is undergoing multiple surgeries after being shot in the back in Fairfax. Officers are now saying this shooting is connected to last week's homicide.

Fairfax Police Department in Allendale County said the 14-year-old was shot around 3 p.m. Tuesday at Union Apartments off North Union Avenue.

The teen was airlifted to the hospital and has since undergone multiple surgeries. One person was taken into custody. Wednesday police were out searching the woods for weapons.

Fairfax police say this shooting is connected to last week's deadly shooting in Allendale. On Thursday, 84-year-old Willie Johnson was found dead at his home on Pickrum Street. SLED took over the investigation.

Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old are in custody in connection to the Pickrum Street homicide and are charged with murder.
