Teen hit by car while riding his bike in Augusta

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW)-A 15-year-old boy was hit by a car while riding his bike on Laney Walker Boulevard, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said the teen was riding his bike on the sidewalk in front of the Church's Chicken near Cecelia Street, when he veered into oncoming traffic.

He was transported to GRU with life-threatening injuries. No one has been charged at this time.
