JACKSON, S.C. (WRDW) -- A teenager died after a three-car accident on May 19 in Jackson, the Aiken County coroner said.

Tyler Cunningham, a Silver Bluff High School student, was pronounced dead Wednesday evening after succumbing to injuries suffered in a car crash near Highway 28 and Silver Bluff Road.

Cunningham was not at fault, not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the vehicle after it overturned, the coroner said.

The 19-year-old was transported to GRU along with his 13-year-old sister, a student at Jackson Middle School, who was wearing a seat belt. No one else in the three-car accident sustained any life-threatening injuries.
