Suspects wanted on drug charges in Aiken arrested

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- A man and woman wanted on drug charges in Aiken County have been booked into the Richmond County Jail.

Deputies say 30-year-old Lisa Williamson and 29-year-old Christopher Lewis were booked sometime Tuesday afternoon.

The Aiken Department of Public Safety was called to investigate a possible methamphetamine lab at a motel on Richland Avenue May 28.

Lewis was wanted for possession of a pistol by a convicted felon, possession of a stolen pistol, possession with intent to distribute (PWID) methamphetamine, PWID methamphetamine within a half mile of a school and possession of prescription drugs.

Williamson was wanted for PWID methamphetamine and PWID methamphetamine within a half mile of a school.

The Aiken County Sheriff's Office and the ATF Rage Unit Task Force assisted in the case.
