BURKE COUNTY, Ga. (WRDW) -- One man has been arrested and another is wanted in connection to recent grave robberies in Burke County.

Jerry Atkinson and Ralph "Bubba" Hillis, both of Waynesboro, are accused of malicious removal of the dead from a grave.

Hillis was arrested on Monday in Richmond County.

The five desecrated graves at the Old Church Cemetery were discovered on April 13. The Sheriff's Office says the two were identified after receiving multiple tips from the public.
