UPDATE: Structure fire out in Hephzibah, house destroyed

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. (WRDW) -- Crews put out a house fire on the 1900 block of McDade Farm Rd. in Hephzibah.

Firefighters were called out to the scene around 11:45 p.m.

They tell 12 a man was inside the home at the time of the fire, but was able to get out.

Firefighters say the man had smoke inhalation, but wasn't taken to the hospital.

Crews say the home is a total loss, and the cause of the fire is being investigated.
