UPDATE: Aiken Co. Sheriff's Office names suspect after homicide

AIKEN COUNTY, S.C. (WRDW) -- The Aiken County Sheriff's Office has an arrest warrant for 22-year-old Reginald Jerome Hamilton, Jr. after a homicide on the 200-block of Green Road near Petticoat Junction Monday evening.

The Sheriff's Office is still searching for Hamilton, and deputies are seeking any information of his whereabouts.

A Sheriff's Office release says witnesses called 911 at 6:53 pm on Monday, after hearing gunshots in the area. The witnesses soon discovered a black male victim with a gunshot wound.

Aiken County EMS transported the victim to Georgia Regents Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The Aiken County Coroner, Tim Carlton, said the deceased is 35-year-old Isiah D. Miles of Beech Island, S.C. Carlton said Miles was shot multiple times.

Sheriff's Office investigators used flashlights to search for clues in the around a mobile home on Green Road.

An autopsy was scheduled for Tuesday in Newberry, S.C.
