UPDATE: Victim identified, search continues for 2 suspects in Augusta shooting

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The victim in Tuesday night's shooting on Douglas Street has been identified.

Richmond County investigators say that 23-year-old Kentrell Dominique Wright was walking down the 1700 block near Josey High School when two men robbed him of his money and cellphones.

Wright tried to run away, but as he was running, the two men fired several shots in his direction. One of those bullets struck Wright, entering near his left ear and exiting out of his left upper lip.

Wright was taken to the hospital and is listed in stable condition. His injuries to not appear to be life threatening.

Investigators are looking for two suspects, who were last seen leaving the scene in a dark-colored sedan being driven by another suspect. The first is a black male, between 25 to 30 years old. He is 5'8" to 5'9" with a medium complexion and a goatee. The man was last seen wearing a black coat and black pants. The second suspect is a black male between 5'11" and 6'0" tall and weighs between 180 and 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing all black with a black hood.
