AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Sheriff's Office has confirmed a missing woman has been located.

Deputies say 43-year-old Heather Lair was found when she was stopped on Fort Gordon Tuesday.

Family and friends had been looking for her since July 7.

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- The Richmond County Sheriff's Office is looking for a missing woman.

Heather Christen Lair, 43, was last seen around noon July 7 on the 3700 block of Walton Way Extension.

Lair could be driving a 2004 gold Porsche Cayenne with Georgia license plate number BWR8144.

She is known to frequent the Olive Road and Central Avenue area.

The Sheriff's Office says she has been known to leave before but has never been gone this long.
