GRANITEVILLE, S.C. (WRDW) - The Aiken County Sheriff's office is investigating an armed robbery and shooting a house the sheriff says they know all too well.

Sheriff Michael Hunt says two people were held at gun point and robbed in a home on Brooks St. During the robbery, there was an altercation and deputies say it appears that at least one person was shot.

The suspect, the shooting victim and the two people being held in the house fled the scene before deputies arrived.

Hunt says the incident is drug related, and deputies have responded to the house many times before today.

Deputies planned to look for the people involved, but called off the bloodhound search.
