EVANS, Ga. (WRDW) -- Officers are looking into a domestic case that turned violent in Evans on Friday, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office said.

A man went to his ex-girlfriend’s home and found another man working on her computer upstairs, the Sheriff's Office said. The ex-boyfriend allegedly got into a physical fight with the man working on the computer.

The ex came downstairs and also hurt the woman before she shot him in the backside, the Sheriff's Office said.

The woman may not face charges, claiming self-defense, while the ex may face assault charges for his alleged attacks.
