Sheriff's Office: 2 women break into hotel while man sleeps to steal

AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Two women are accused of breaking into a hotel room to steal while a man was asleep inside.

The incident happened on May 1 at 5 in the morning inside of the Clarion Suites on Washington Road, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office said. Surveillance video showed the first suspect entering the victim's room twice. The third time video shows the second suspect joins the first suspect to grab items from the room.

The first suspect in the video provided by the Sheriff's Office is wearing the white shirt with the University of Georgia "G" logo on the front. The second suspect is wearing the red University of Georgia sweatshirt.

The victim's debit card was used multiple times at the Kangaroo Gas Station located at 3011 Washington Road.
