AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW) -- Two drive-by shootings on Laurel Street may be connected to the shooting on Paine College's campus Monday, the Richmond County Sheriff's Office said.
Deputies arrived to the scene of a possible shooting on Laurel Street at 12 p.m. on Monday where they found bullet holes on a front porch and a bullet in a victim's living room, a report said. A witness told deputies she saw a gray SUV with tinted windows pass, a passenger put his hand in the vehicle then she said she heard shots firing.
Other witnesses dropped to the ground and were unable to see anything once the bullets started flying, a report said.
There were no injuries reported and video of the crime was given to the Sheriff's Office, a report said.
The Sheriff's Office is working to see if the drive-by shootings on Laurel Street and the two shootings on Paine College's campus are related.
