WARREN COUNTY, Ga. -- Warren County and Hancock Central high schools will play each other in football Friday night for the first time since a fight after last year's game.
The details of the security plan for the game have been released.
Deputies from Warren and McDuffie counties will be assigned to each team. Fans will not be allowed to walk from one side of the stadium to the other. If fans decide to leave the stadium, they will not be allowed back in. Hancock Central players will arrive in their uniforms, so they will not have to go into the locker room.
Last year's fight happened when the two teams were returning to the locker rooms after the game. Warren County players said Hancock Central players ambushed them and began fighting.
Warren County Coach David Daniel had serious head injuries after being attacked. Daniel retired before the 2012 season to focus on his health.
